Born in Romania, Luminita D. Alavanza, MSN, BSN, RN, AGNP, attended Lanao School of Science and Technology in the Philippines and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2010. Her credentials include her Master of Science degree in Nursing with Health Education concentration received at the University of Phoenix (2013). She also holds a certificate in Adult Gerontology Nursing acquired at South University. Luminita remains a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Psychiatric Nurse Association. Moreover, she attained induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
